This position will be working on the Mosaic Modernization program and this positions could be a long term contract.We need a talented Senior Business Analyst to fill a critical opening in our PSS (Passenger Service System) SHARES team. We are working to completely transform and modernize our PSS over the next several years, which will result in an industry leading platform. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business and technology partners
- Lead meetings with business and technology partners to gather and document needs and requirements
- Work collaboratively with product owners, business partners, end users, architects, developers, eQE, scrum masters, and other analysts
- Function as a project leader
- Work on complex projects that require subject matter expertise
- Work/consult across multiple projects
- Provide direction, tools, and process support to less senior employees
- Work independently
- Analyze business processes and requirements
- Plan and design solutions
- Create complex workflow models and process maps independently from defined specs
- Prepare project documentation
- Analyze efficiencies and effectiveness of current solutions
- Identify problems/issues and find solutions
- Self-motivated – if you don’t know the answer, you’ll reach out and find somebody who does
- Poised and confident presenting skills to various levels of leadership
- Thrive in a hybrid waterfall-agile software delivery environment
- Break epics down into user stories and define acceptance criteria for each user story
- Provide Agile team with context needed to understand broad scope of projects
- Multitask and concurrently work on more than one project
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Aviation, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training
- In-depth knowledge/expertise of airline PSS systems, functionality, and industry standards
- Working experience in airport or airline operations
- Experience in Agile methodology, including writing of user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Exhibit creativity and innovation
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
