You will accomplish this by leading projects and supporting Procure-to-Pay Procurement Operations (P2P) including workstreams:
- Purchasing request intake and workflow configuration
- Tactical sourcing management including the end-to-end transactional sourcing cycle (contract signing, PO creation)
- Supplier set-up & maintenance including supplier rationalization, onboarding, risk assessment and deactivation.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring the team continuously optimizes the P2P cycle and enhances the experience for our customers (the internal business units.)As a fast-growing company, we are constantly evolving as an organization and as a company were looking for someone who is ready to roll up the sleeves, dive-in, and wear multiple hats. You will report directly to the Head of Global Procurement.Responsibilities:
- Drive and support procurement operations projects, processes and procedures, focusing on strategy, visibility and efficiency.
- Review the various purchasing types and associated procedures to recommend opportunities for optimization.
- Support team to identify, obtain, analyze and translate various data sets into meaningful insights to support strategic sourcing and other procurement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, accounts payable, finance, and legal to provide a seamless procurement experience.
- Lean in and support the day-to-day activities in procurement operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited university in business, finance or supply chain management and 8+ years indirect procurement experience.
- Experience with P2P process and procurement tools (Zip and Coupa experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, internal and external relationship building and communication skills to drive change.
- Excellent project management skills in leading procurement operational initiatives.
- Comfortable working with large and sometimes ambiguous data sets from various procurement applications such as Coupa, NetSuite, Zip.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, particularly with manipulating large sets of data and organizing it in a meaningful way for your audience.
- Familiarity with third-party procurement resources and communities of practice that provide intelligence around market trends and emerging procurement technologies and best practices.
- Transparent in dealings and a reputation for honesty and integrity.
Compensation: $62.00 – $70.00 per hourID#: 24-00121
