  • Serve as a subject matter expert on CMS SCRM strategy and policy and guidance supporting Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Director of Strategic Information, under the Office of Information Technology.
  • Work collaboratively with internal CMS staff, external federal government agencies, and industry in developing and implementing overarching supply chain risk management strategies.
  • Evaluate and assess the effects and impacts of existing and proposed federal legislation on CMS policies as it relates to supply chain risk management.
  • Develop and maintain CMS SCRM policy, CONOPS, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with C-SCRM Assessment team to coordinate policy with risk assessments processes.
  • Facilitate working group sessions with cross functional teams.
  • Support program office-level SCRM needs such as providing contract language, reviewing SCRM-related contractor deliverables, assisting with selecting and implementing SCRM controls and mitigations.
  • Provide program management support, perform data analysis, develop briefings and papers for all levels of leadership, and conduct research in support of SCRM initiatives.
  • Assist the office in developing and submitting responses to SCRM-related data calls and audits
  • Develop and oversee SCRM program metrics. Analyze and assess CMS SCRM program progress and performance toward implementation and adherence to supply chain risk management principles, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain CMS SCRM information library consisting of government and industry provided technical and process information on a CMS provided share drive.
  • Assist in the development, planning, and delivery of SCRM outreach, awareness, and training material.
  • Assist in the coordination and facilitation of CMS SCRM Awareness Group (SCRMAG) meetings.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ plus years’ experience in federal government logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong policy and process development and implementation experience
  • Understanding of NIST standards, particularly 800-53, 800-161, RMF, and CSF.
  • Comfortable interpreting and proposing concepts/approaches through various methods including concept papers, briefings, and spreadsheet.
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry.
  • Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Current active SECRET clearance. Top Secret clearance preferred. You must be a US citizen.
