Job description: Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and three years of related experience.Job Summary:This position provides advanced expertise and analysis management of the business and administrative activities related to core processes within HR Shared Services, in addition to ensuring the process and operational continuity of entity and department-level transactions.Job Duties:
- Demonstrates advanced working knowledge of regulations, provisions, and trends within their functional area.
- Develops and coordinates employee communication materials for distribution to employees and human resource personnel via intranet and mailings.
- Develops and maintains accurate information within the Human Capital Management System (HCM) and HR Business Center Customer Relationship Management System (CRM).
- Prepares and audits reports as requested for institutional, internal, and/or external purposes.
- Gathers and analyzes information to support the institutional/departmental budget & planning process.
- Reviews and audits databases.
- Reviews legislation for regulatory compliance, as requested.
- Participates in third-party surveys.
- Develops, recommends, updates, and writes Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) for functional areas.
- Develops strategic goals for change including but not limited to change initiatives and acts as a change agent, communicating change goals and strategies to involved parties.
- Serves as a resource for inquiries regarding policy/procedures or training.
- Performs all support activities in accordance with required security protocols.
- Coaches, develop, and consult with employees, team members, and management.
- Facilitates meetings and/or events.
- Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
- Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in PeopleSoft HCM version 8.8 or higher & expert knowledge of PS-HCM data structures/modules, as well as advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to perform tasks on own initiative with “minimal” guidance while exercising discretion and judgment.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple priorities and use critical thinking skills to make decisions with minimal guidance.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-resolution skills.
- Ability to work with information of a confidential nature.
- Ability to work independently or in collaboration with peers and business partners in a seamless manner.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to train/mentor Human Resources Representatives and Specialists.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
- Commitment to delivering a high-quality work product.
- Must be comfortable and proficient in working with various business partners in HR, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, and Information Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Benefits (Retirement and Insurance).
- Peoplesoft systems.
- Relevant HR certifications desirable.
Salary Range:Actual salary commensurate with experience.Work Schedule:Partial Remote, onsite as needed.
