Must have a broad understanding of the VPX ecosystem, understand customer needs, and can creatively leverage Sanmina’s internal resources to identify and facilitate solutions for these customers.Nature of Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop Key AccountsManage existing customersEnsure customer expectations are clearly understood, communicated and metSanmina’s operations teams and the customer’s teams are well coordinatedInsure the best business practices are applied to benefit our customersDrive communication with existing customers, participate in QBRs, develop customer strategies, and solve problemsDevelop and strengthen relationships with all levels of customer managementIdentify and implement opportunities to improve service and grow revenueWork with the customer for timely payments, work through E&O issues, and other out of scope charges/costsDevelop relationships with customer engineering teams to learn of new opportunitiesExpand Sanmina’s market share with existing customersDrive Growth with New CustomersAccountable for meeting and exceeding sales revenue targetsBe familiar with the Defense market, customers and opportunitiesDevelop a professional network to help provide identify and pursue opportunitiesTarget customers, develop relationships, assess opportunities and win new businessWork with Quote teams to coordinate quotation activity on new business opportunitiesSupport preparation of proposals, meetings and other activities targeted at customer opportunitiesEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree10-15 years Sales Experience with strong knowledge of Defense industry and backplane / electro-mechanical integrationStrong Knowledge of Backplane technologies and open standardsSignificant experience in Backplane / system integration is essential, with understanding of costing & pricing.Highly motivated with entrepreneurial attitude and outlook, strong work ethics with high level of integrityExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skillsExcellent MS Office skillsExperience working with vast remote cross-functional teams in large matrix organizationsStrong project manager with excellent ability to prioritize, multitask and organizeThis is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentitySalary Range(annual): $100,000 – $150,000In addition, Sanmina Provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
