  • Adaptable and agile, can work in a fast-paced environment and respond and re-prioritize quickly when internal or external changes demand.
  • Examines policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Coordinates with operating departments to ensure adherence to laws and regulations relating to new or revised internal gaming controls.
  • Responsible for the creation, revision, and submission of Internal Controls.
  • Keeps all Internal Controls up to date and on file with the MGCB.
  • Coordinates with the live studio management and operations to ensure adherence to laws and regulations to new or revised internal controls.
  • Consults with and advises operating units and management affected by compliance issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for addressing day-to-day compliance inquiries or issues; internal memoranda and correspondence; and any other policies or programs published by the company that are of a compliance nature;
  • Responsible for submissions to the Department of Consumer Protection to obtain approvals for table games additions, deletions and/or moves and any other approvals required by the regulator.
  • Any ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Preference in business or regulatory related field.
  • Experience in gaming industry or similar regulatory field: Audit, Governance, Compliance, or Regulatory Oversight.
  • Background in highly regulated industries, with a strong preference for gaming experience or Casino Audit experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret gaming statues, rules, and regulations.
  • Skilled in Excel; experience in Confluence and JIRA systems a plus.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule and flexible hours when required.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Must have very strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate with leadership effectively and succinctly to deliver critical findings and reports.
  • Results oriented, goal oriented and self-motivated.
  • Experience in gathering and understanding audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of the creation and implementation of organizational policies and compliance to them.
